Clara West

Clara Margarete West (born July 7, 1981 in Freiburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ).
Life
West grew up in Eutin , Schleswig-Holstein. After graduating from high school in 2000 graduated West initially legal, after three semesters of education and political science at the University of Kiel and in Berlin from 2000 to 2005. In July 2011 she was at the University of Halle in Thomas Olk to Dr. phil doctorate, the subject of the dissertation whose second corrector was Frank Adloff , was an inventory of the importance of different groups of motives for donors . While still at school, in 1996, West began to be politically active and became a member of the Jusos , and in 1997 of the SPD. From 2006 to 2011, West was a member of the Pankow District Assembly and was a member of the Finance and Culture Committee. 18 September 2011 she succeeded in constituency Pankow 7 in the Berlin state election, 2011 as a candidate of the SPD of the draw as deputies in the Berlin House of Representatives . In September 2016 she was able to win the direct mandate again. She is deputy group leader and member of the main committee.
