Daniela Kluckert (born December 22, 1980 in Nuremberg ) is a German politician ( FDP ) and holds a degree in economics . She has been a member of the 19th German Bundestag since 2017 .

Professional background

Kluckert grew up in Weißenborn , Lower Saxony . After graduating from high school in 2002, she began studying economics at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and the Free University of Berlin , from which she graduated with a diploma. From 2009 to 2013 she worked as an employee of a member of the German Bundestag. Before moving into the German Bundestag , Kluckert worked as a ministerial advisor for the Saxon Ministry of Economic Affairs at the Saxon state representation , where she was responsible for the areas of transport and the digital agenda.

Kluckert joined the FDP in 2005 and was elected Berlin State Chairperson of the Young Liberals in 2006, which she led during the election to the Berlin House of Representatives . Since 2011 she has chaired the district association of the FDP Pankow. In 2016, Kluckert was also elected to the state executive committee of the FDP Berlin with responsibility for economics , before she was voted deputy state chairman in March 2018 .

For the 2017 Bundestag election , Kluckert stood as an FDP candidate in the Berlin-Pankow constituency and moved into the 19th German Bundestag via second place on the FDP state list . She is deputy chair of the committee for traffic and digital infrastructure as well as a full member of the study commission “ Artificial Intelligence - Social Responsibility and Economic, Social and Ecological Potential”. She is also a deputy member of the parliamentary advisory council for sustainable development .

Private

Kluckert is Evangelical Lutheran and married to the lawyer Sebastian Kluckert . In addition to her work in the German Bundestag, she is involved in the Free Democratic Welfare and the German-Israeli society . Furthermore, she is a member of the Liberal Women and a supporting member of the Young Liberals.
