Daniela Raschhofer

Daniela Raschhofer (born June 19, 1960 in Braunau am Inn ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ). She was a member of the European Parliament from November 11, 1996 to July 19, 2004 .

Life

After graduating from the higher federal college for economic women's professions, Raschhofer attended the Pedagogical Academy in Salzburg and passed the teaching examination for elementary schools. She then studied at the Linz Professional Education Academy and passed the teaching examination for vocational schools.

Raschhofer worked in a law firm and completed a year abroad in Paris, after which she worked as a vocational school teacher in Braunau am Inn (Section II at commercial vocational schools).

From 1991 to 1996 she was a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament , since 1991 a member of the Braunau am Inn municipal council , federal party chairman of the FPÖ since 1999, chairwoman of the local council fraction of the FPÖ Braunau am Inn since 1997 and head of the delegation of the free European parliamentarians since 1997.

In the European Parliament, Raschhofer was active in the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy and the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality . She was also a member of the delegation to the EU-Hungary joint parliamentary committee.
