Daniela Schlegel-Friedrich

Daniela Schlegel-Friedrich (born May 8, 1967 in Püttlingen ; born Daniela Schlegel ) is a German politician ( CDU ). Since the direct election of the district administrator in 2004, she has been the district administrator of the Merzig-Wadern district .

Career

In 1986 Schlegel-Friedrich graduated from the Peter-Wust-Gymnasium (Merzig) . In the same year she was accepted as a scholarship holder at the Institute for the Promotion of Gifted Students of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation . She studied business administration at Saarland University until 1992 . Her main areas of study were human resource management, organization, private / labor and tax law. In the same year she became a business graduate with distinction.

From 1991 to 1993 she worked as a freelancer for Prisma Prof. Scholz GmbH. From 1992 to 1993 she was an assistant at the Scholz chair. During the same period Schlegel-Friedrich was a lecturer at the Academy of Saar Economics in the subject of personnel management. From 1993 to 1995 she was a lecturer at the Academy for Operations and Management in the Human Resources department. From 1993 to 1994 she was economic policy advisor for the CDU parliamentary group in the Saarland parliament . In October 1994 she was elected as a member of the state parliament.

When the government changed in Saarland in 1999, she became State Secretary in the Müller I cabinet in the Ministry of Economics, which is why she resigned from her parliamentary mandate; Günter Heinrich moved up for them . Since October 1, 2004 she has been the directly elected district administrator for the Merzig-Wadern district. In the direct election of the district administrator on October 23, 2011, Schlegel-Friedrich was confirmed in office with 70.19% of the votes cast. In the local elections in Saarland in 2019 , she prevailed again, this time with 62.6% against Stefan Krutten .
