Breakdowns and irregularities

  • Due to typing errors on the ballot papers for the city council elections in Saarbrücken and Völklingen , the papers had to be reprinted in advance of the election.
  • In the election for District Council Halberg , false ballot papers were issued at a polling station at the beginning of the election day. After discovering the breakdown, the election was continued with the correct ballot papers.
