Daniela Strohm

Daniela Strohm (born May 7, 1980 in Villingen-Schwenningen ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Strohm was a junior national player and took part in the U20 European Championship in 2000. In the course of the tournament she was the third-best scorer of the Germans with 10.1 points per game.

At club level, she was part of the BTV 1846 Wuppertal Bundesliga squad from the 1996/97 season . In 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000 she was German champion and German cup winner with Wuppertal. Strohm also gained experience in the Euroleague with BTV . After her time in Wuppertal, she moved to the United States , studied and played at the University of South Carolina in 2000/01 . Then Strohm strengthened BG Rentrop Bonn , with which they also competed in the Bundesliga from 2001. In 2005 the winger was relegated with Bonn from the top German division.
