Daniele Contrini

Daniele Contrini (born August 15, 1974 in Gardone Val Trompia ) is a former Italian cyclist .

Daniele Contrini started his career with Brescialat in 1995 . He drove there for four years and then switched to Liquigas . In 2002 he went to the German team Gerolsteiner . For this team he won a stage of the Saxony Tour in 2003 . From 2004 Contrini rode for the Swiss cycling team LPR. In the 2005 season he won the French one-day race Route Adélie as well as a stage of the Picardy Tour . His greatest success so far was winning the second stage of the Tour de Suisse in 2006 .
