Career

society

Daniele Corvia began his career in the youth department of AS Roma , for whose professional team he gained his first experience in the top division in the 2003/04 season and played in three Serie A games for AS Roma. In the following season, the striker received more missions, but could not score again. In the summer of 2005 he moved to the second division Ternana Calcio , where he was able to establish himself as a regular player. After the 2005/06 season , the team rose third from bottom of Serie B in the third highest division and Corvia then signed a contract with AC Siena . Although he received regular missions there in his first season, he only managed to score one goal. In the following season, the attacker did not perform as expected and was awarded to the second division US Lecce in January 2008 .

At Lecce he managed to increase his hit rate and score six goals in 13 games. After the loan period expired in the summer of 2008, there was another change on loan basis. Corvia was loaned to FC Empoli for the entire 2008/09 season . There he immediately played his way into the regular formation and became an important part of the Tuscan team.

With 67 points, the promotion to the top division as fifth was only just missed, while AS Livorno in third place was only able to gain one point more. In the summer of 2009, the striker returned to Lecce and was signed by the Apulian club. He scored his first goal for Lecce in his fifth appearance on September 22, 2009 in the away game at US Triestina .

National team

Corvia was appointed in 2004 by then national coach Claudio Gentile for the first time in the squad of the Italian U-21 team, for which he made his debut on May 11, 2004 in the game against Poland. He was also used in the game on November 16, 2004 against Bulgaria. The attacker failed to score in both games and received no further bids afterwards.
