Daniele Matias Hypólito (born September 8, 1984 in Santo André ) is a Brazilian gymnast who took part in all Summer Olympics between 2000 and 2012 . She won the silver medal at the 2001 World Floor Exercise Championships. Daniele is also nine-time Brazilian champion in gymnastics , 2002 winner of the South American Games. She also won bronze at the 2003 Pan American Games . Her younger brother Diego is also a successful gymnast.

Career

She trains in Rio de Janeiro . As a junior, she won the Pan Am Games in 1998 and the Canberra Cup in 1999. Hypólito finished 27th in the 1999 World Cup, but helped the team qualify for the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, where they finished 20th overall.

In 2003 at the World Championships she was last, but qualified with the team for the 2004 Olympic Games, in which she was twelfth overall. At the 2005 World Championships, she was ninth.
