Danielle Cormack (born December 26, 1970 in Auckland ) is a New Zealand actress .

Act

Cormack's acting work since the 1980s has included numerous roles on the theater stage, on television and in the film sector. She was one of the original cast of the long-running soap series Shortland Street , where she played the role of Alison Raynor. Other well-known television roles of Danielle Cormack are that of the Amazon Ephiny in Xena - The Warrior Princess , Cynthia Ross in The Cult and the witch Shota in Legend of the Seeker - The Sword of Truth . She had other roles in the New Zealand drama Separation City in 2009 and in the Australian drama series Wentworth in 2013 , in which she played the lead role.

Private

Danielle Cormack has two sons. Her first son was born in 1996 and comes from her previous relationship with Hayden Anderson. With her fellow actor Pana Hema Taylor , she has another son, who was born in 2010.
