Danilo , real name Danilo Pereira da Silva (born April 7, 1999 in São Paulo ), is a Brazilian soccer player . He has been under contract with the Dutch first division club Ajax Amsterdam since August 2017 and is currently on loan to Twente Enschede .

Career

Beginnings

Danilo was trained in his hometown of São Paulo with Corinthians as well as with other clubs in the state of the same name and with FC Santos . As part of the São Paulo state championship for youth teams, Danilo scored seven goals in eight games for the U20s of FC Santos.

Netherlands

Scouts from the Dutch first division club Ajax Amsterdam had been watching the center forward for some time and the club signed him for their U19 team in September 2017. He played in a professional league for the first time on March 25, 2018, when he played for the club's second team in the second-rate Eerste Divisie against Jong AZ Alkmaar . At the end of the 2017/18 season , he won the first second division championship in club history with Jong Ajax. In the following season he was part of the squad of the second and was used once in the preparation of the first team. In August he was awarded to Twente Enschede in the Eredivisie .
