Danny Danon
Danny Danon ( Hebrew דני דנון; * 8. May 1971 in Ramat Gan ) is an Israeli politician of the Likud .
Life
Danon studied at Florida International University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem . Danon has been a member of the Knesset since 2009 . From March 2013 to July 2014 he was Deputy Minister of Defense. From May to August 2015, Danon was Minister for Science, Technology and Space . In August 2015 Danon was appointed Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations . He handed over his position as Minister of Science, Technology and Space to Ofir Akunis .
