Danutė Aleksiūnienė
Danutė Aleksiūnienė (born April 16, 1952 in Mankūnėliai , Rajongemeinde Lazdijai ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduating from high school in Seirijai near Lazdijai , she completed her diploma in mechanics at the Kauno politechnikos institutas in 1975 . From 1979 to 1990 she worked as an engineer in Vievis . From 1990 to 1993 she was Deputy Mayor of Vievis, then head of Vievis District . From 1995 to 1997 she was a member of the council of the Trakai district council , from 2000 to 2003 of the council of Elektrėnai . From 1997 to 2000 she was a member of the Seimas .
From 1993 she was a member of Lietuvos centro sąjunga , from 2001 of Liberalų ir centro sąjunga .
She is married. With the husband Antanas she has the son Vaidotas and the daughter Asta.
