Daouda Jabi (born April 10, 1981 in Pelundo , Guinea-Bissau ) is a Guinean football player .

Career

society

The 1.80 meter tall right defender began his career in the youth of the French club VEF Pacy . He played his first league games in the 1998/99 season with USL Dunkerque , where he was under contract for two years. In his first year he played seven goalless league games. In his second and final season, he already played 30 league games and scored two goals.

His next stop was the club RC Lens , where he initially played for two seasons in the B team and a total of 60 games (four goals). It was not until the 2001/02 season that he was used twice for the professionals, but never became an integral part of the first team there. In the 2002/03 season Jabi came to 16 league games, in the 2003/04 season on 19 and in his last season three more league appearances followed. For the 2004/05 season he played again predominantly for the B team.

For the 2005/06 season, Jabi moved to league rivals AC Ajaccio , where he played 31 goalless league games this season. His next stop was the Turkish club Kayseri Erciyesspor , where he played 10 league games and scored one goal. In his last season he signed a contract with Trabzonspor , in which he played ten goalless league games.

National team

From 2004 to 2008 Jabi ran at least 25 times for the Guinean senior team .
