Darío Silva , full name Ruben Darío Silva Silva , (born February 19, 1992 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.79 meter tall goalkeeper Silva started his career in the ranks of the first division club Defensor Sporting . There he received no playing times in the Primera División in the first division seasons 2011/12 and 2012/13 , but was used five times in the Copa Libertadores Sub-20 , in which his club reached the final. In January 2013 he was loaned to league rivals El Tanque Sisley . After he did not get beyond the role of the substitute goalkeeper there, he played 15 times in the top Uruguayan league in the 2014/15 season. In the 2015/16 season he was used in eight first division games and was relegated with the club at the end of the season. At the beginning of September 2016, he joined the first division promoted Rampla Juniors , for whom he did not, however, complete any compulsory professional games. In July 2017, the Guatemalan association Deportivo Carchá signed him .
