Dario Jerkić (born October 22, 1975 ) is a Croatian basketball coach .

career

As a player, Jerkić moved from Capljina to the then German second division club SV Oberelchingen in 1999 and played there in the 1999/2000 season and in the 2011/02 season.

From 2004 to 2010 Jerkić was the head coach of the Weißenhorn team , which competed under different names. He led Weißenhorn to promotion to the Regionalliga in 2006 and to promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga ProB in 2009 . From 2013 he coached the SV Oberelchingen team (later renamed ScanPlus Baskets Elchingen), which under his leadership was promoted to the Regionalliga in 2014 and to the 2nd Bundesliga ProB in 2015. As a newcomer to the league, Jerkić reached the quarter-finals in the ProB in the 2015/16 season, and the semi-finals in 2016/17. In the 2017/18 season, Elchingen won the ProB championship title under Jerkić and remained unbeaten in all home players of the championship season, but the club had already renounced promotion before the success. He was named the best coach of the ProB season 17/18 by the 2nd Bundesliga. Following the season 17/18, Jerkić resigned as Elchinger coach, but remained with the team as sports director.
