Darius Remeika
Darius Remeika (born January 8, 1972 in Alytus ) is a Lithuanian politician and Vice Minister of Agriculture .
Life
After graduating from the 8th Alytus Middle School in 1990, Darius Remeika graduated from 1990 to 1995 with a degree in veterinary medicine at the Lietuvos veterinarijos akademija in Kaunas and became a veterinarian .
From 1995 he worked as an officer in the Veterinary Medicine Institute in the Alytus district . From 2014 to 2016 he was a consultant at Žemės ūkio rūmai . From 2013 to 2014 he was an advisor to the Prime Minister. From December 2016 to April 2017 he was Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Agriculture of Lithuania , Deputy of Bronius Markauskas in the Skvernelis cabinet . Since the end of April 2017 he has headed the State Office for Food and Veterinary Medicine (VMVT).
Darius Remeika speaks English, Polish and Russian.
