Dark Buddha Rising is a Finnish stoner-doom / drone-doom band from Laitila that was formed in 2007.

history

The band was formed in 2007. In the same year, the debut album I was self-published, followed by the second album Ritual IX on the Post-RBBM label in 2008 . The group then went on a tour of Finland, which lasted until the next year. In February 2009 the band also played at the Psychotropic Caravan Festival, which took place in the event building called Nosturi , near Helsinki . Also participated in the festival Circle , Lord Vicar and Vibravoid part. The next album followed in November 2009 under the name Entheomorphosis , before the group appeared again in January 2010 at the Psychotropic Caravan Festival, where they played together with groups such as Eagle Twin , Aortaorta , Moloken Totalt Jävla Mörker . After another album release in 2011 under the name Abyssolute Transfinite , the group switched to Svart Records , which in 2013 released the next album Dakhmandal .

style

According to Melanie Aschenbrenner from Metal Hammer, the band play on Dakhmandal's strange-looking Drone Doom, which is particularly noticeable with the roar of bass and electric guitar, precise drumming and distorted vocals. In addition, all songs are named with only one letter.
