Das-Kollektiv.Net is a synth-pop band set up as a studio project by 8 musicians, so-called collective units. The music is characterized by influences from the areas of Synth Pop, Future Pop , Electro , EBM and Dark Wave . Nothing is known about the names of the actual makers, rather they call themselves “collective units” and hide behind numbers.
history
Das-Kollektiv.Net is anchored in northern Germany, has existed for a number of years, but only released entire albums in the course of 2006. While the first album Das, what remains, hat no name was produced and published entirely in-house in 2007, the second album Eichenriegel was released in 2009 on the scene label Danse Macabre . A collection of later remixes, ReManufactured 2012, were in turn self-produced and published, until the album Nahton was released under their own label in 2013 . In 2016 the EP "Android" was released with 5 songs, also self-produced.
style
Das-Kollektiv.Net is characterized by a broad musical spectrum in the field of electronic music. The main focus in the early years was on dark wave , electronic body music since 2011 the group has developed more and more in the direction of synth pop and future pop . Whilst Das what remains, had no name that was extremely diversified by danceable, sometimes pounded beats, the album Eichenriegel was characterized by a harder, darker sound. For the album Nahton, on the other hand, the band chose a more pleasant sound, to which instruments such as B. electric guitar , saxophone or plucked electric bass came.
