Das Loch is a 12-minute fictional film by the director Matthias Heise with Otto Sander in the lead role. The film was the German entry in the international short film competition of the 44th Berlin Film Festival .

In untouched nature, a man finds a mysterious hole in the earth - one meter in diameter - that swallows all light and sound. Curiously, the man throws larger and larger stones into it, almost triggering the end of the world.
