The pretty blonde Biggi will proudly their new "MiniKini" nothing in truth as a swimsuit topless , showing off in a Viennese pool. Her boyfriend is the amateur screenwriter and songwriter Frank, who is desperate for success. He thinks that his Biggi, a full-time secretary, clearly wears too little for the appearance in the bathroom and clearly too much for one in the nudist camp. Biggi's new “style of clothing” leads to the fact that the public in Vienna initially heats up and the bourgeois moralists cut them socially, but then obviously the hormones shoot into the weed and Biggi's body is constantly exposed to covetous looks. Biggi and Frank's love happiness is put to a severe test. Finally the partner swaps : Biggi ties up with Frank's best friend, while Frank in turn reorientates himself towards Biggi's best friend and even marries her.
Production notes
The girl with the mini was one of Austria's first nudist films when it was made in 1964 and premiered on February 19, 1965. The film opened in Germany on March 26, 1965.
Pop singer "Frank Roberts", who was actually called Frits Fronz , made his screen debut here. Following this film, Fronz made a short but intense career as Austria's first sex film director.
Reviews
Paimann's film lists found the story "in contrast to other nudist films ... unpretentious and brisk, if not prepared without jumps".
The lexicon of the international film tore up the strip and found: "Sad comedy attempt".
The film, which was shown again as part of the Viennale in autumn 2017, was announced by the festival management as follows: "Austria's first nudist film is a lovable, clumsy, colorful miracle from the candy dish that is impatiently waiting to be rediscovered long overdue."
