Dave McAuley

Dave McAuley (* 15. June 1961 in Larne , Northern Ireland ) is a former British boxer in the flyweight .

Professional career

In 1983 he started his professional career. On June 7, 1989 he boxed against Duke McKenzie for the IBF World Championship and won by a unanimous judge's decision. He defended this title five times and lost it on June 11, 1992 to Rodolfo Blanco unanimously on points. After this defeat, McAuley ended his career.

In total, he played 23 fights. Of these he was able to win 18, eight by knockout , and lost three.
