David Anderson, Baron Anderson of Ipswich
David William Kinloch Anderson, Baron Anderson of Ipswich KBE QC (born July 5, 1961 ), is a British lawyer and life peer .
He was a 1988 Barrister at the London Bar Brick Court Chambers admitted. In 1999 he Kronanwalt ( Queen's Counsel ). From 2011 to 2017 he was the Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation in the United Kingdom .
On June 9, 2018, he was knighted as Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire . On July 10, 2018, he was promoted to Life Peer as Baron Anderson of Ipswich , of Ipswich in the County of Suffolk . As a result, he has since held a seat in the House of Lords , of which he is a non-party Crossbencher .
