David Arnsperger
David Arnsperger (* 1982 in Freiburg ) is a German singer ( baritone ) and actor .
Life
David Arnsperger grew up in Freiburg im Breisgau. He gained his first stage experience during his school days at the Harlekin Circus and at the Freiburg Theater .
After graduating from high school with a focus on music, David Arnsperger moved to Berlin to study , where he was trained by Ute Becker and Peter Kock in the musical / show course at the University of the Arts . In 2007 he passed his diploma with distinction.
In order to further develop his vocal qualities, he then also completed another degree in singing / music theater with Ute Trekel-Burckhardt at the University of the Arts , which he completed in 2010 with a Bachelor of Music.
Awards
David Arnsperger won numerous competitions:
- 2005: 1st prize in the main musical competition at the 34th National Singing Competition in Berlin
- 2006: 1st place at the WestLB Summer Academy in the form of a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied with Mary Hammond and David White.
- 2010: 2nd prize at the Lotte Lenya Competition of the Kurt Weill Foundation in New York.
