David Axmark
David Axmark (* 28. May 1962 in Sweden ) is one of the founders of MySQL AB as well as developers of open source - databases MySQL and MariaDB . He was involved in the development of MySQL from the beginning together with co-founder Michael Widenius .
Life
Axmark studied at Uppsala University between 1980 and 1984. Since 1980 he has been developing free software. On December 4, 2012, David Axmark and the other MySQL founders Michael “Monty” Widenius and Allan Larsson announced MariaDB .
