David Manuel Rodríguez Carvajal (born August 28, 1978 in Tuineje / Fuerteventura / Spain ) is a Spanish handball player . He is 1.85 m tall and weighs 89 kg.

Carvajal, who plays for the Spanish club SCDR Anaitasuna, is mostly used as the right winger .

David Carvajal started playing handball in his hometown. He later moved to the largest club in the Canary Islands , CBM Gáldar on Gran Canaria , where he also made his debut in the Spanish ASOBAL league. However, when Gáldar had to file for bankruptcy in 2003, Carvajal moved to mainland Spain to the big FC Barcelona . There he won the Copa del Rey de Balonmano , the Spanish Supercup and the EHF Champions Trophy in 2004 . After only one season, however, he moved on to SDC San Antonio. With the men from Pamplona he won the Spanish championship in 2005 and the Spanish Supercup in 2006; in addition, they moved into the final of the EHF Champions League in 2006 , where they were defeated by BM Ciudad Real . In 2008 he moved to Cuenca in 2016. Two years later he went to Anaitasuna.
