David DeArmas

David DeArmas (* 1976 ) is a former American - German football player .

Life

DeArmas, a 1.80 meter wide receiver and pass defender, played in the GFL in the 2000 season with the Munich Cowboys and in 2001 with the Stuttgart Scorpions . Initially from 2002 to 2004 he was on the pitch for the Braunschweig Lions . In 2003 he won the Eurobowl with the team , in 2002, 2003 and 2004 he was also German runner-up with the Lower Saxony. In 2002 DeArmas and his Braunschweiger also reached the Eurobowl, but lost there against the Bergamo Lions .

In 2005 and 2006 he was in the service of the Hamburg Blue Devils , in 2005 he reached the final of the German championship with Hamburg, which was lost to his former Brunswick team with 28:31. In 2007 DeArmas played for the Hamburg Sea Devils ( NFL Europe ) full-time in the field of game day implementation, with the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes . With the German national team he was third in the 2007 World Cup.

In the playing years 2008, 2009 and 2011 DeArmas belonged again to the Braunschweig team, with which he won the German championship title in 2008. In the run-up to the 2012 season, he moved to the Lower Saxony coaching staff and looked after the wide receivers. DeArmas took a break in 2013, in 2014 he returned to Braunschweig's coaching staff and was henceforth responsible for the defensive backs .
