David di Tommaso (born October 6, 1979 in Échirolles , † November 29, 2005 in De Meern , Utrecht municipality , Netherlands ) was a French football player .
Di Tommaso, who also played in the French youth national team, began his career in 1998 with the French first division club AS Monaco , with whom he also played in the Champions League . From 2001 he played in the French second division at CS Sedan before moving to the Netherlands for FC Utrecht in mid-2004 , where he was voted Player of the Year by the fans in his first year.
Di Tommaso died of heart failure on the night of November 29, 2005 at the age of 26. He leaves behind his wife Audrey and son Noah.
