David Greig
David Greig (* 1969 in Edinburgh ) is a Scottish playwright.
Life
Greig grew up in Nigeria . He studied English and Drama at Bristol University . His first play premiered in Glasgow in 1992 . In 1996/97 he was a resident writer for the Royal Shakespeare Company .
His play The Architect was filmed by Matt Tauber in 2006 , with Anthony LaPaglia and Isabella Rossellini in the leading roles . Greig wrote the script together with Tauber.
