David Kebekus

David Kebekus (* 1984 in Bergisch Gladbach ; initially David Kebe ) is a German comedian , director and author .

Live and act

Kebekus has been working as a writer for the productions Freitag Nacht News , Switch reloaded , Ladykracher , Joko gegen Klaas - Das Duell um die Welt and PussyTerror TV since 2005 . From 2009 he studied “Directing and Screenwriting” at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne . Since 2013 he has worked as a director for, among others, Pussy Terror TV and the heute show . Since 2016 he has been with his first solo program Aha? No matter. on tour. Since December 2018, Kebekus has been running the weekly podcast Lass hör'n together with Jan van Weyde . He performed as David Kebe until early 2019 .

He lives in Cologne . His sister is the comedian Carolin Kebekus .

Awards

In 2010 he was nominated for the Grimme Prize as the author of the show Broken Comedy in the entertainment category. He is also the winner of the Montreux Comedy Award 2011 as a member of the Broken Comedy writing team in the “Best Sketch Show” category.
