Jan van Weyde (born July 6, 1979 in Bonn ; real name Jan Sluyterman van Langeweyde ) is a German actor , comedian and voice actor .

life and career

From 1999 to 2000 van Weyde studied at the "Acting Class College" in Chicago , from 2001 to 2003 at the Arturo Drama School . In 2004 he went to the Film Acting School in Cologne. In 2003 he moderated Interactive on VIVA .

From 2005 to 2007 van Weyde was in the ARD - telenovela Storm of Love for the first time in the role of Xavier Steindle to see. After two short guest appearances in 2009, the character was again one of the characters in the series from 2011 to 2013. In 2014 and 2015 he was briefly seen again as "Xaver Steindle".

Since 2015 he has appeared on stages in Germany as a stand-up comedian. In 2016 he was a participant in the RTL Comedy Grand Prix . Since 2017 he can be seen in the opening act of Carolin Kebekus . Since December 2018 he has been running the weekly podcast Lass hör'n together with David Kebekus .

Van Weyde lives in Cologne and is married to the actress Jasmin Schwiers . Their first daughter was born on August 18, 2014, and in May 2019 they became the parents of a girl again.
