The RTL Comedy Grand Prix is a German comedy show produced by Constantin Entertainment . The first edition aired on November 18, 2011. The program was initially moderated by Daniel Hartwich , and since 2015 by Oliver Geissen . In 2013 she was nominated for the German Comedy Award in the category Best Comedy Event . Young comedians appear on the show , from which a winner is then chosen.

procedure

Before that, a jury selects two young comedians who first have to pass a selection process and various tasks. In the show they each present a short program. At the end of the broadcast, the winner will be chosen by the studio audience. In addition to a trophy, the prize includes a comedy workshop in New York City and a tour guide with one of the jurors.
