David Kersh

David Kersh (born December 9, 1970 in Humble , Texas ) is an American country singer.

Kersh first worked in the Texan club scene before he got a contract with the Nashville label Curb Records in 1996 . In the same year the first CD was produced: Goodnight Sweetheart . The title song made it into the country top ten.

The Texan gained additional popularity in 1997 through a Southwest Airlines commercial in which he played a young country singer on his way to Nashville. A year later he released his second and for the time being last CD: If I Never Stop Loving You . Due to numerous live performances, Kersh can build on a reliable fan base. Overall, Kersh had three top ten hits in his short career, and his two albums sold well. In 1999, Kersh had to temporarily interrupt his career due to a vocal cord disease. In 2005 he announced that he was giving up his career as a country musician because he couldn't take the business side anymore.
