David M. Cote (born July 19, 1952 in Manchester (New Hampshire) ) is an American manager . He works for GS Acquisition Holdings Corp.

Life

Cote attended Pembroke Academy and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire in 1976 . In November 1979, Cote joined General Electric , where he rose to the position of vice president of the company. From November 1999 to February 2002 he was CEO at TRW . From 2002 by 31 March 2017 he was Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Honeywell International Inc . He was also Executive Chairman there from 2002 to March 31, 2018.

Since April 2018 he has been CEO and President of GS Acquisition Holdings Corp.
