David Mabumba

David Mabumba (born April 23, 1971 ) is a Zambian politician of the Patriotic Front (PF).

Life

Mabumba completed postgraduate studies in management , which he completed with a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Another postgraduate degree in human resources , he graduated with a Master of Science (M.Sc. Human resource management), and worked as a personnel manager. He was elected for the first time as a member of the National Assembly of Zambia as a candidate of the Patriotic Front (PF) in the 2011 election and on August 11, 2016 and represents the constituency of Mwense . After serving as Vice Minister for Education, Vocational Training and Early Childhood Education from February 2015 to September 2016, President Edgar Lungu was appointed Minister of Energy in his cabinet in September 2016 .
