David Rodeschini
David Rodeschini (born June 27, 1980 in Neuchâtel , Switzerland ) is a Swiss solo trumpeter in the genre of classical music , conductor and university professor.
Life
Rodeschini completed his studies in modern and baroque trumpet with Vanca Samonikov, Gabriele Cassone and Gérard Métrailler at the conservatory in Lausanne and Geneva . He completed it with a soloist diploma. Rodeschini was the 2005 winner of the Swiss and finalist of the European trumpet competition " Lions Club ". In 2006 he was a finalist at the audition in the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra . In 2008 Rodeschini initiated, organized and directed the Symposium Romand de la Trompette . He received a teaching position for the professional musician class at the "Institut supérieur de musique de Ribaupierre" in Lausanneand at the University of Music in Geneva. He has given concerts as a soloist with well-known orchestras such as the Orchester de la Suisse Romande and with organ and brass quintet. He traveled to Japan and large parts of Europe as an orchestral musician and made guest appearances at renowned music festivals such as Lucerne and Verbier .
Rodeschini plays the baroque trumpet in the ensemble " Gli Angeli Geneve ". He is a member of various trumpet and brass ensembles as well as the conductor of the Berlin WindWerk Symphonic Wind Orchestra and the Berlin Concert Brass.
