David Scheinemann (or Scheinimann ; born June 20, 1662 in Tübingen ; † April 2, 1702 there ) was a German lawyer.

origin

His parents were Professor David Scheinemann (* June 18, 1628 - March 4, 1676) and his wife Maria Magdalena Bardili (* December 16, 1630; † May 10, 1702), a daughter of the physician Carl Bardili .

Life

David Scheinemann studied in Tübingen and became an associate professor for natural and international law in Tübingen in 1688. He became a full professor of morality in 1689 and a full professor of natural and international law in 1692. In 1694/95 and 1700 he was rector of the University of Tübingen .

family

He married on September 4, 1688 in Tübingen Maria Katharina von Gülchen (1669–1739) a daughter of Abraham Ludwig von Gülchen . The couple had several children:

  • Maria Dorothea (September 29, 1697; † 1768) ∞ Kaspar von Pfau (September 14, 1686; † December 1744), Privy Councilor
