David Tanner (born September 30, 1984 in Melbourne , Australia ) is a former Australian cyclist .
After Tanner won three competitions on the international calendar in 2010, he received a contract with the UCI ProTeam Team Saxo Bank-Tinkoff Bank from the 2011 season . For this team he contested the Vuelta a España 2012 and finished his first Grand Tour as 106th 2013 and 2014 he rode for the ProTeam Belkin-Pro Cycling Team . In 2015 he switched to IAM Cycling and won the second stage of the Tour of Austria in the sprint . At the end of the 2018 season, it ended its active career.
