David Toman (born February 19, 1996 ) is a Czech grass skier . He has been competing in the World Cup since 2011 .

Career

In addition to races in the Czech Cup, Toman first took part in two World Cup races in Olešnice v Orlických horách in July 2011 , which were his only international competitions this year. He finished the Super-G in 35th position and was disqualified in the super combined, which is why he remained without World Cup points in the 2011 season . In the 2012 season , Toman took part in seven of the twelve World Cup races in addition to FIS races . At his first World Cup races of the year in Předklášteří in July , he achieved ninth place in slalom and twelfth place in giant slalom - and thus his best World Cup results so far. Then he took part in the World Cup races in Dizin and Rettenbach , where he was twice in the fastest 15. In the overall World Cup he reached 21st place. For the first time, Toman took part in a Junior World Championship in Burbach in 2012 , where he achieved results in the good midfield with 8th place in the super combined, 12th place in the super G and 14th place in the giant slalom. Only in the slalom he was eliminated in the second round.
