David Usher (2005)

David Usher (born April 24, 1966 in Oxford , England ) is a Canadian rock singer and songwriter .

life and career

Since early childhood, his family moved to Malaysia , New York , California and Thailand before settling in Kingston, Ontario , Canada . While attending school in Vancouver , Usher joined the rock band Moist in 1993. Her 1994 debut album, Silver , went four times platinum in Canada. As the front singer of the band, he quickly became famous in his home country with his soul-like voice and exotic appearance.

After the release of the follow-up album Creature in 1996, he took some time to record his first solo album Little Songs , which was released in 1998.

One of his internationally best known and most successful songs is Black Black Heart from the album Morning Orbit .
