David Victor Kelly

Sir David Victor Kelly , GCMG MC (born September 14, 1891 - March 27, 1959 in Tara House, Inch , County Wexford , Ireland) was a British ambassador .

Life

In 1920 David married Victor Kelly, Isabela Adela Mills and in 1929 Renee Marie-Noele de Jouda de Vaux.

As envoy in Bern, Kelly negotiated in early 1940 with Colonel Robert Fierz, director of the War Technology Department and Rudolf Minger , head of the Federal Military Department, for priority delivery guarantees for strategic material to the Allies.

David Victor Kelly was British Ambassador to Argentina from 1942 to 1946, with diplomatic relations interrupted from June 8, 1944 to April 9, 1945.

In 1951 David Victor Kelly was retired .
