David Wilhelm Erythropel

David Wilhelm Erythropel (born June 20, 1687 in Hanover ; † February 16, 1758 ) was a German Lutheran theologian, consistorial councilor and general superintendent of the General Diocese of Calenberg .

Life

Erythropel was a son of the castle preacher David Rupert Erythropel in Hanover. From 1705 he studied theology in Helmstedt , Leiden , Utrecht and Franeker . In 1709 he made a trip to London. In 1710 he became second pastor at the Neustädter Hof- und Stadtkirche in Hanover, in 1717 first pastor there. From 1732 he was consistorial councilor, from 1742 also general superintendent of Calenberg.
