Davide Moretto (born April 11, 1984 ) is an Italian-Spanish soccer player who grew up in Switzerland .

Career

Davide Moretto was trained in the youth department of FC Brugg and the Aargau U21 team. In 2001 he moved to the professional squad of FC Aarau , where he played as a defender at FC Aarau in the Axpo Super League until 2006 . In 2003, the team only achieved the last place in the league, but remained first class after victories in the relegation games. For the 2006/07 season, the defensive specialist moved back to his youth club in Brugg. In his last season for Aarau, he finished seventh with the team, the best result for him. After two years in Brugg, Moretto signed for SC Schöftland . In the meantime he was with FC Baden for a short time . In Schöftland it only lasted one season before he transferred to FC Windisch .
