Aerial photographs of the American Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947-1948) and the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (1958-1959) as well as surveys carried out by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from 1958 to 1959 were used to map them.
