Dawn Olsen (* 1966 or 1967 ) is a former squash player from Hong Kong .

Career

Dawn Olsen, who moved to Hong Kong with her parents when she was four, played squash in the 1980s and 1990s. Her best placement in the world rankings she reached with rank 20 in 1992. She was in 1988 and 1990 after a final defeat against Mah Li Lian vice Asian champion . With the team she won the Asian Cup in 1986 and 2000 and took part in the World Cup with her in 1985 , 1990 and 1996 . Between 1989 and 1996 she won the Hong Kong National Championships five times . Since Olsen was not born in Asia, nor was one of the parents from Asia, she was not allowed to participate in the Asian Games despite being nominated by the Hong Kong Squash Association .
