The Squash National Team of Hong Kong is the totality of the squad Squash Association Hong Kong Squash . It includes Hong Kong athletes who represent their country in individual and team competitions nationally and internationally in squash .

history

Men's

Hong Kong first took part in a world championship in 1979 . The team finished their debut in 13th place. With the exception of the 1981 , 1985 and 1987 events , the team always took part in the finals. Hong Kong first achieved the best result when they participated in 2003 when they made it to the quarter-finals and finished eighth. In 2017 , after a 2-1 quarter-final win over France , the team made it into the semi -finals for the first time, finishing the tournament in third place.

Hong Kong celebrated greater successes at the Asian Championships . In 1992, the team reached the final for the first time, which they lost against Pakistan . Also in 1996 they lost to Pakistan in the final. In 1994 and from 1998 to 2002, Hong Kong took third place four times, always ahead of India .
