The Dawson nunatak is a nunatak in Mac Robertson Land, East Antarctica . In the Athos Range of the Prince Charles Mountains, it rises about 5 km south-southeast of Mount Peter .
Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions were used for mapping purposes. It is named after Peter L. Dawson, chief diesel generator set mechanic at Mawson Station in 1964.
