Days of Waiting (English for: days of waiting ) is an American documentary from 1990. It is based on the novel Lone Heart Mountain by Estelle Ishigo.

The film tells the story of the fair-skinned artist Estelle Ishigo during World War II. Estelle was married to an American of Japanese descent. When US citizens with Japanese ancestry were interned after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor , Estelle refused to part with her husband and followed him to the internment camp .
