De Block is a Belgian brewery .

history

The first mention of the brewery can be found in the 14th century, when Henricus De Block from the Duke of Brabant and Burgundy as its subject the brewing rights secured. However, beer production only started with the miller and farmer Louis De Block, who married a master brewer's daughter.

The brewery is still owned by the family today.
