De Kuyper Royal Distillers BV is a Dutch liqueur and spirits manufacturer based in Schiedam and the world market leader in the field of colored liqueurs. Founded in 1695 by Petrus De Kuyper, the company is now in the eleventh generation of the family and was appointed Royal Distillers by Queen Beatrix in 1995 on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the company . De Kuyper is now exported to more than 100 countries and, according to its own information, sells more than 50,000,000 bottles a year. De Kuyper's products are distributed in Germany by Borco-Marken-Import .

Petrus De Kuyper started out with the manufacture of barrels and containers for the transport of beer and spirits. The De Kuyper family had owned a distillery in Schiedam since 1752, which became known for its gin and genever production. In the 19th century, the company expanded its export business to the entire European continent, Great Britain and Canada. In 1911 a new distillery was built and in the following years a liqueur production was established. In the 1960s, the production of gin and genever had become obsolete and the increasing consumption of cocktails led to a surge in the demand for colored liqueurs. This continues to this day, as the numerous flavors and colors of the liqueurs offer bartenders a variety of options for making cocktails.

The De Kuyper liqueur range includes all common types of liqueur, including Cherry Brandy , Maraschino , Triple Sec , Curaçao liqueurs in various colors, Crème de Cassis , Amaretto , Crème de Menthe , Crème de Cacao , Apricot Brandy , Parfait Amour and numerous other fruit , Cream and spice liqueurs. Among the famous brands of De Kuyper also include Bessenjenever with red currant, apple spirit Apple Schnapps , the eggnog De Kuyper Advocaat , the herbal liqueur Schipperbitter and bitter aperitif Oranje Bitter . De Kuyper also continues to produce genever . Also cocktail bitters and grenadine syrup offered.
